Can I keep using my current ACU-issued Visa credit card? What about business cards?

Your current Visa Classic or Visa Platinum card will continue to work as it has until the full credit card conversion happens in mid-August, 2022. Business members will also get a replacement credit card in mid-August, 2022, and should continue using their card until a new card is received.

Will I need to apply for a new card after full conversion?

No. If you have an ACU-issued Visa credit card, you will automatically be transitioned to a Visa Platinum® Value or Visa Signature® credit card. There is no need for you to re-apply.

What will happen to my bonus/reward points on ACU-issued credit cards?

You will stop accruing points on purchases made with their ACU-issued Visa credit card after April 30, 2022, in preparation for the retirement of the ScoreCard Rewards Program on June 30, 2022. After June 30, 2022, you will no longer be able to redeem points.

Why is the ScoreCard Rewards Program going away?

SLFCU’s Visa Signature credit card offers monthly cash-back rebates instead of a rewards program with a catalog of pre-selected prizes, giving you the freedom to use your rebates however you’d like. SLFCU’s Platinum Value card offers a low rate instead of a rebate. Most members who carry a revolving balance prefer this money-saving option.

How can I see my ACU-issued credit card balance?

Until the conversion in mid-August, you can continue to access your current credit card account(s) by visiting animascu.com and logging in to your Visa credit card account . If you receive printed monthly statements by mail, you will continue to receive them that way.

Where do I make credit card payments?

You can continue to make payments on your current ACU-issued credit card by logging in to your Visa credit card account at animascu.com, or in person at any Farmington branch.

Can I still use the SecurLOCK card controls app with my current ACU-issued credit or debit card?

Yes. The app can be downloaded from animascu.com.

Can I request a credit limit increase on my current ACU-issued credit card?

You may request a credit limit increase by calling 505.326.7701. Please note, requests are subject to approval.
